Kyle XY stars Matt Dallas and Jaimie Alexander also received nods for their work on the series. This is the second time the show has been nominated in the category. It’s competing against such equally popular shows as Showtime’s Dexter, SCI FI Channel’s Battlestar Galactica and Stargate SG-1, and TNT’s The Closer and Saving Grace. The show, which revolves around a superhuman teen living with a normal suburban family, is up for a Saturn Award for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series. ABC Family’s Kyle XY is once again at the receiving end of much recognition as the sci-fi family drama is nominated for several Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films – aka Saturn – awards.
